The Lineup: October ‘10
What I can’t live without: Playoff baseball. You couldn’t pay me to watch a baseball game in June but I absolutely love playoff baseball. To me, there’s nothing like the crowd’s reaction when there’s two strikes on a batter with two outs left in an inning or the feeling of momentum during a late rally. Must. See. TV.

The “New, New” (Lauren London voice) award: Yoga. It was something that I was always curious about and decided to try. Found out the hard way that although yoga involves stretching, you need to stretch before you start the class. Lol.
#questionablebehavior: People who walk around with cell phones with pics of themselves on the home screen. C’mon son (Ed Lover voice)

Had no idea that: The Napster kid owns 7% of Facebook. Winners win, period. Check out The Social Network if you haven’t seen it yet.
(Related: Reluctant shout-out to J. Timberlake for a good performance.)
Unexpected dopeness: The Event. There have been so many shows that have tried to capture the 24/Lost market and simply flop. But eventhough I’m still kind of waiting for the other shoe to drop and stop watching the show, after 6 episodes, I’m still hooked.
(Related: Blair Underwood playing a Latino President. Thanks to Obama, its no longer far fetched.)
Super Shrug: Boardwalk Empire. So much hype, so much boredom. HBO can’t hit the target all the time.

Make sure you: Remember to Vote on November 2nd! I don’t care which side of the political fence that you fall on; just make sure you are in that booth exercising your right.
(Related: Actually please don’t vote for Christine O’Donnell – seriously)
You should have Netflix’d: The Prestige. Let’s take a moment and acknowledge the sheer greatness of Christopher Nolan.
(Related: The Bounty Hunter, Robin Hood (sorta))
Had to make room on my iPod for: Lil Wayne. Even though he’s been in jail since March, the tattooed rapper managed to drop a number 1 album… and its no joke. Watch out because when he gets out, you might get a new Weezy song daily.

DMX’ing the Game: Kanye West. If you’ve been paying attention every Friday, I shouldn’t have to explain myself.
Can’t wait for: Pink Friday. Nicki Minaj is one of the hottest rappers in the game today (MTV ranked her #6) and she’s going to have the most anticipated album from a female in over a decade.
