6 months down, 6 to go.

The Lineup: June ‘10

What I can’t live without: Sports.  Between Lakers vs. Celtics, the Flyers in the Stanley Cup and World Cup soccer, sports is the way to go.  Add in the NBA draft, summer baseball and some good MMA cards and I can’t get enough of it.
(Related: Reruns of The Shield one of the best shows ever)

Welcome back: Michael Westin & Sookie.  Two of my favorite shows, Burn Notice and True Blood all came back into my life and my DVR.
(Related: Johnny Drama & the rest of the Entourage)

You should have Netflix’d: It’s Complicated.  A brilliantly written movie with equally brilliant performances.  Oh and Merryl Streep might be the greatest "actor" of all time – male or female.
(Related: Valentine’s Day – girly, I know but it was a good movie, Shutter Island)

Really proud of: Jaden Smith. Like father, like son. He did a great job doing the Karate Kid and it turned into the #1 movie in the country.  Gotta love it.
(Related: Taraji P. Henson - ditto)

Did you see: Tom Cruise on the MTV Movie Awards. Far and away the best moment of the awards for the past ten years. Classic stuff.
(Related: Prince’s pajamas at the BET awards – only he can pull that off)

Had to make room on my iPod for: Thank Me Later.  Drake’s highly anticipated debut album definitely doesn’t disappoint.  If you haven’t copped, go get that.
(Related: T.I., Eminem, The Roots)

Random but…: We’re on the same page if you know who Balls Mahoney is. LMAO.

Can’t really understand: People under 30 who smoke cigarettes.

How can you expect: Men to trust women when a show like Basketball Wives can get serious airplay?  Seriously, what do they contribute to this world?  Can someone please page Melinda Gates – she should set the example for everyone else.
(Related: S-M-H)

Can’t wait for: UFC 116: Lesnar vs. Carwin – Imagine two grizzly bears fighting... only if they knew wrestling and boxing.
(Related: The Closer)

  1. Am I really going to Netflix It's Complicated off your recommendation right now? It couldn't have been The Crazies or the Book of Eli you loved?
